Commercial Vehicles Manager, Sandyford

The Commercial Vehicle Manager at Frank Keane Volkswagen is responsible for overseeing the sales operations of Commercial Vehicles. This role involves managing any relevant sales representatives, developing sales strategies, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The Commercial Vehicle Manager will work closely with the General Sales Manager to meet dealership sales targets and expand the market presence of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles in South Dublin.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Management:

  • Sell, lead, recruit, develop, motivate, and manage the commercial vehicle sales department.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve dealership sales targets.
  • Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to the General Manager.

Customer Relations:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients and businesses.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints and concerns promptly.

Market Expansion:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and markets for commercial vehicles.
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the market.

Inventory Management:

  • Oversee the commercial vehicle inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels & models in line with budgetary planning.
  • Coordinate with the inventory team to manage vehicle ordering and delivery processes.
  • Ensure that the dealership has a diverse range of commercial vehicles to meet customer needs.

Training and Development:

  • Provide ongoing training and support to the sales team to enhance their product knowledge and sales skills.
  • Conduct performance reviews and set development goals for sales staff.
  • Stay updated with Volkswagen’s product developments and industry trends.

Administrative Duties:

  • Ensure all sales documentation and transactions are processed accurately timely, and in accordance with Frank Keane policies.
  • Maintain compliance with all dealership policies and Volkswagen’s standards.
  • Manage budgets, expenses, and financial transactions related to the commercial vehicle department.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing a sales team.
  • You must have a full valid drivers licence for this role.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial vehicles and the automotive market.
  • Proficient in using CRM software (preferably CDK / Keyloop / ADP) and manufacturer ordering systems.

Frank Keane Volkswagen is located in our brand new state of the art showrooms in Furze Road, Sandyford with showrooms and aftersales facilities that have been equipped and developed to the very latest Volkswagen standards. As a result of strong demand from Volkswagen customers we are seeking to recruit an experienced Contact Centre Agent to join our team as we expand to become the first choice for Volkswagen in Dublin.

Due to continued expansion we are looking for a talented contact centre agent to work within our existing customer service team based in Sandyford. We are looking for an individual that has experience in optimising the customer experience through inbound / outbound calls, including upselling warm leads in a busy contact centre environment.

We are looking for a self-starter, who is performance-driven and customer-focused. The successful candidate will have strong customer service and communication skills and an ability to balance high call volumes and customer service excellence.

The role will be based within the Contact Centre reporting to the Contact Centre Manager. As a key point of contact within the business for the customer this is an excellent opportunity to play a vital role in a successful and expanding environment.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with outbound call activity to our existing customers and also assist with inbound overflow support.

Trainee/Junior Parts Sales, Sandyford

Frank Keane Volkswagen Sandyford are currently seeking a Trainee/ Junior Parts Advisor to join our growing team. This is an exciting role in a fast paced, state of the art dealership which offers a career path in one of Irelands biggest dealerships. 

Our parts department currently plays an integral role in the running of our Aftersales Operations within our state of the art workshop facilities, whilst also serving a large number of reputable Trade and Retail Customers throughout the greater  Dublin area.

Hours of work: Monday – Friday. 8.30am - 5.30pm (Negotiable) 

Remuneration: Base Pay (Depending on experience) + Bonus package.

Training: Inhouse and manufacture training path. 

Reporting to the Parts Manager, key responsibilities will include:

  • Ordering, organizing, and maintaining of all Parts stock within the Dealership.
  • Have the ability to maintain and adhere to top quality operating procedures and Dealership rules and regulations.
  • To accurately identify, locate and select vehicle parts for both Trade and Retail Customers, as well as handling and managing the in-house Workshop Counter.
  • To carry out pre-picks for future workshop bookings and to identify if parts will need to be pre-ordered in advance of a vehicle arriving to the workshop.
  • To possess an excellent and polite telephone manner when speaking with both external and Trade Customers, while also displaying product knowledge and interpreting the needs of the Customer to ensure only accurate parts are being sold.
  • To manage walk-in Trade and Retail Customers to identify their needs, locate and supply required parts. Adhering to general Department housekeeping such as stock checking, stock replenishment, and ensuring any unused parts are stocked away correctly.

Requirements/Desirables: 

  • Fluency in English is essential.
  • Immaculate attention to detail.
  • Knowledge/experience within the Motor Trade would be a distinct advantage.
  • Ability to use computer software systems ( parts catalogues, stock management systems ,Excel ).
  • Ideal candidate will be friendly, have a customer focused disposition and will work well within a fast-paced team and environment.

Part-time Showroom Host, Sandyford

Frank Keane Volkswagen Sandyford are now inviting applications for a customer-centric Part-time Showroom Host with an immediate start. This role requires the successful candidate to work up to 30 hours per week between Monday and Saturday. We are conveniently located in Sandyford Business Park and have a state-of-the-art showroom with the highest specification fit-out for our staff and customers.

As a Showroom Host, you will have excellent interpersonal skills as you will be responsible for meeting and greeting all customers. You will manage various customers at any one time and ensure each customer has a positive and enjoyable experience.

This role would be ideal for someone with a strong Customer Service background who enjoys giving exceptional experiences on a consistent basis.
