Commercial Vehicles Manager, Sandyford

The Commercial Vehicle Manager at Frank Keane Volkswagen is responsible for overseeing the sales operations of Commercial Vehicles. This role involves managing any relevant sales representatives, developing sales strategies, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The Commercial Vehicle Manager will work closely with the General Sales Manager to meet dealership sales targets and expand the market presence of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles in South Dublin.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Management:

  • Sell, lead, recruit, develop, motivate, and manage the commercial vehicle sales department.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve dealership sales targets.
  • Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to the General Manager.

Customer Relations:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients and businesses.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints and concerns promptly.

Market Expansion:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and markets for commercial vehicles.
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the market.

Inventory Management:

  • Oversee the commercial vehicle inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels & models in line with budgetary planning.
  • Coordinate with the inventory team to manage vehicle ordering and delivery processes.
  • Ensure that the dealership has a diverse range of commercial vehicles to meet customer needs.

Training and Development:

  • Provide ongoing training and support to the sales team to enhance their product knowledge and sales skills.
  • Conduct performance reviews and set development goals for sales staff.
  • Stay updated with Volkswagen’s product developments and industry trends.

Administrative Duties:

  • Ensure all sales documentation and transactions are processed accurately timely, and in accordance with Frank Keane policies.
  • Maintain compliance with all dealership policies and Volkswagen’s standards.
  • Manage budgets, expenses, and financial transactions related to the commercial vehicle department.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing a sales team.
  • You must have a full valid drivers licence for this role.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial vehicles and the automotive market.
  • Proficient in using CRM software (preferably CDK / Keyloop / ADP) and manufacturer ordering systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Showroom Host/Receptionist, Liffey Valley

Frank Keane Volkswagen Liffey Valley are now inviting applications for a customer-centric Showroom Host with an immediate start. We are conveniently located in Liffey Valley and have a state-of-the-art showroom with the highest specification fit-out for our staff and customers.

Please note that this is a full-time position with normal working hours of 7.30am - 4.30pm, Monday to Friday. 

As a Host, you will have excellent interpersonal skills as you will be responsible for meeting and greeting all customers. You will manage various customers at any one time and ensure each customer has a positive and enjoyable experience.

This role would be ideal for someone with a strong Customer Service background who enjoys giving exceptional experiences consistently.

About the Role

  • Ensuring customers looking to speak with a Sales Executive are introduced to one promptly and professionally.
  • Offer customers refreshments and make them feel welcome
  • Help Aftersales Department customers with their check-in for servicing.
  • Deliver excellent customer experience at all times
  • Be the first point of contact for any issue or questions
  • Help with ad hoc duties and tasks

Service Advisor, Liffey Valley

Due to increased demand from our customers Frank Keane Volkswagen are looking to recruit an experienced Service Advisor for an immediate start in our Dealership in Liffey Valley, Dublin 22. Reporting to the Service Manager, this important and demanding role is critical to the smooth running of our Aftersales Department as we strive for a 5-Star Service for our customers along their journey. 

Job Summary: As a Service Advisor you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and managing the servicing and maintenance needs of our customers. You will act as a liaison between our customers and the service department to ensure a smooth and efficient service process.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Interaction: Greet and assist customers, understand their service needs and provide recommendations based on the manufacturer's guidelines and the vehicle's condition.
  • Service Recommendations: Communicate vehicle issues and service recommendations to customers, including required repairs, preventive maintenance, and suggested services.
  • Service Scheduling: Schedule service appointments and manage loan vehicles, if necessary, to accommodate customer needs and dealership capacity.
  • Service Estimates: Provide customers with accurate and transparent cost estimates for service and repairs, including parts, labour, and potential additional charges.
  • Vehicle Inspection: Conduct vehicle inspections and document the condition of the customer's vehicle. Share findings with customers and prioritise necessary repairs and maintenance.
  • Communication: Keep customers informed of the progress of their service or repair work, including any unexpected delays or additional repairs required.
  • Parts Ordering: Order necessary parts and materials to ensure timely completion of service or repair jobs.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all service and repair work is performed to Volkswagen's quality and safety standards.
  • Billing and Invoicing: Prepare and explain invoices to customers, collecting payments, and handling any warranty claims or issues.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and organised service records, including customer information, vehicle details, service history, and repair orders.
  • Sales Opportunities: Identify potential upsell opportunities for service packages, extended warranties, and accessories.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a Service Advisor role is desirable.
  • CDK / Keyloop (Kerridge) experience is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with computer software and service management systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills.
  • Must possess a valid driver's licence
