If you own a petrol or diesel car registered in 2013 or earlier, you could be eligible for up to €8,500 towards a new electric vehicle under the Government's new ICE2EV Scrappage Scheme.
Under the new scheme, eligible customers can receive up to €8,500 in support when purchasing a new grant-eligible electric vehicle and scrapping an eligible petrol or diesel vehicle.
Combined with the lower running costs of electric driving, this could make switching to a new Volkswagen EV more affordable than ever.
